About the Property

Old Sugar Mill was originally built in 1934 as a sugar beet processing factory and refinery. For decades, it processed sugar beets grown throughout the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta and surrounding Yolo County farmland, playing an important role in Clarksburg’s agricultural economy. The facility operated under several owners until sugar processing ended in 1993. Beginning around 2000, the historic industrial property was renovated and transformed into the wine destination it is today. The original brick buildings, high ceilings, and industrial character remain a major part of the property’s identity, now housing wineries, tasting rooms, events, weddings, and community gatherings.
