The Old Sugar Mill is currently home to 15 wineries, each independently owned and operated.

Do’s and Don’t of the Crawfish Boil!

Do bring something to the table.  Feel free to grab a glass of wine from one of the 15 wineries when you step up to the table.

Do allow others to squeeze in around the table. Most crawfish boils are big gatherings. You should expect to squeeze in and get cozy. It’s similar to family style dining.

Do wash your hands before and after eating. There are restrooms onsite at OSM at the main entrance or you may choose to use one of our designated hand washing stations near the dining area.

Do be prepared to stand. The Boil area is standing room only. There will be a limited number of tables and chairs around the property for use.

Do be conscious of others. If the corn and potatoes are in limited supply make sure you leave some for others.

Do monitor your own carcasses. Don’t judge others on the way they police or discard of the carcasses, much like politics, religion, and your favorite band from the ’80s,  the way a person deals with their shells is their business.

Do suck the heads of your crawfish. Even if you only try it once, and just to say you did, it’s completely worth it!

Do help clean up.  Please discard any remaining carcass in the garbage cans in the dining area as you leave the table.

Do dress comfortably.  Crawfish Boils are designed to get a little messy so don’t bother practicing proper meal etiquette.  Wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes because The Crawfish boil is designed to be eaten “standing at the table”.

Crawfish & Shrimp Boil Pots are made fresh on site and served as the boil is Hot and Ready. Please be prepared to practice patience while waiting for the next serving.

Wine Tasting is not included in this ticket price.  The Old Sugar Mill is home to 15 wineries. Each winery is operated independently. Wine tasting fees range from $5 to $10 per winery.

Tickets are sold per seat so we are unable to accommodate special pricing for children. The price will be the same for any age!
