Compensation: $16-$18 per hour depending on experienceMain Objective: Provide support for facility events & weddings held at Old Sugar Mill venue as directed by Old Sugar Mill management including customer service to visitors, guests, winery/internal staff and clients. Accomplished by:
⦁ Be available to be on-site during scheduled shifts. Must be able to work at least two weekends a month.
⦁ Coordinate with Old Sugar Mill event staff to quickly and correctly execute event layouts and breakdown within the time frame. This includes the set- up of tables, chairs, event equipment, linens, etc.
⦁ Work with the wedding planning team and vendors if help is needed (no food prep) ⦁ Warmly welcome guests and visitors for all events on site at Old Sugar Mill
⦁ Address concerns of wedding party and guests to ensure a safe and enjoyable event while honoring venue guidelines and rules.
⦁ Making sure all rental items are in designated areas at the end of the evening for rental company retrieval
⦁ Interact with Clarksburg Wine Company and other tasting rooms in a thoughtful and cooperative manner
⦁ Light janitorial when needed during events. Empty Trash bins, ensure restrooms are tidy.
⦁ Must be able to lift 50lbs from the floor- wedding and event days will require moving of tables and
chairs
Hourly Wage: $14-$15 per hour depending on Experience Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per year COVID-19 considerations:

● Work with the Wedding Coordinator & Facilities Coordinator to oversee events and lead event staff
● Warmly welcome guests and visitors for all events on site at Old Sugar Mill. Act as Event Host for Private Event Rentals, Corporate events, or Weddings.
● Address concerns of the wedding party and guests to ensure a safe and enjoyable event while honoring venue guidelines and rules.
● Making sure all rental items are in designated areas at the end of the evening for rental company retrieval
● Interact with Clarksburg Wine Company and other tasting rooms in a thoughtful and cooperative manner.
● Light cleaning when needed during events
● Must be able to lift 50 lbs from the floor- wedding and event days will require moving of tables and chairs
● Facilitate Property tours to weddings and event prospects.
Experience with:
Creating & Designing Event Layouts is helpful
Supervisory Experience a Plus
Customer Service Experience a Plus
Wedding & Event Sales Background a plus
Banquet Manager, Banquet Staff Experience, or Hospitality Experience a plus
Computer Skills such as Google Docs, Excel, Outlook, All Seated, Eventbrite, and Honeybook a plus.
Hourly Wage: $15-$17 per hour depending on Experience Opportunity for Advancement
